This weekend, we were invited for a family Chinese New Year lunch. The food was pretty great, and everybody had fun.
Unfortunately, whilst trying to take a group picture, our RX100m3 took a fall. Lucky it wasn't one of our professional cameras.
Whilst still usable, the damage to the camera reflects the fragile nature of electronics, and the importance of having insurance. Whilst we are always careful with our gear, accidents do happen. We won't be claiming insurance on this relatively cheap piece of gear, but if it was our Sony a7iii + 70-200/2.8, we would be crying a lot more.
