Flying a kite on Currarong Beach, Culburra and Berry

This is the third and final instalment of our recent vacation to the South Coast of NSW. We stayed in Currarong, and it was so windy on the last 2 days that we were able to fly a kite (or at least attempt to fly a kite).

We visited Culburra, and went to the markets, and were nearly blown away at Penguins Head Lookout. The markets weren't as good as we hoped, and there weren't that many stalls.

I also gave my final review of the rental apartment we stayed in. The location was awesome, but the quality of the place leaves a little to be desired. The major issue was the lack of cleanliness. Mould on the ceiling fans is not acceptable!

On the drive back to Sydney, we stopped by in Berry, where we sampled the famous donuts from the Donut Van, and did a little spot of shopping (and browsing in various antique stores).

I hope you enjoyed these videos. They were fun to make.

I got to use a combination of the DJI Osmo Pocket and the Canon EOS R with both the 10-18mm and the 24-105L lens. I also got to test out the DJI Ronin SC gimbal (I still have a lot to learn), which does deliver very stable video.

This is also the first time I've tried to do everything on an iPad Pro. Normally, I will bring a laptop of some sort to back up the videos, but this time, I used the iPad in combination with a Samsung T5 SSD drive, and it worked really well. This might well be the go-to combination for future travels.

If you make travel videos, I would love to see yours. Please leave a link in the comment section below.

Until next time,

D.
