Finally! My iPad Mini 6 case with Apple Pencil-compatibility

If you've been following me, you'll know that I recently purchased an Apple iPad Mini 6. And I love this thing, because it's portable, and it is fast. And of course, it is compatible with the second generation Apple Pencil. I wanted a specific type of case for my iPad (not a folio like the one Apple sells), and my first purchase was good, except with one major issue- you cannot connect the Pencil with the case on. This was a deal-breaker for me.

So, having to swallow the error that I made, I went on and purchased a different case from eBay. When I first opened it, I thought that I would have the same problem as the first. The problem you see, was that, with the first case, there is a plastic strip that sits over where the pencil would attach to the side of the iPad Mini. The fact that the Pencil does not physically make contact with the tablet meant that it wasn't recognised.

My new iPad case had the same plastic strip, but for some reason, when you attach the Pencil, it is recognised by the iPad! It can connect, and charge, with the case on. Exactly what I wanted. Happy with my purchase, I can now focus on making content on my iPad. Problem solved! I have no idea how, but it works!
