Kids Go Back To School
I'm a little nervous about having the kids go back to school, I won't lie. Not because I don't think they should ever go back, but because one of our kids is not currently eligible to get vaccinated. It's on good and well for the government to say it's safe, but we can't always trust others to decide the health & welfare of our family.
Governments want to open everything up and get everyone back to business because that's the only way they make money. That's their top priority.
Even with teachers vaccinated, there will be at least 1000 kids in most primary schools who aren't. And that is frightening. We've seen what happens overseas when the kids go back, so why would it be any different here? We're not special. We thought we were, but the recent outbreaks and long lockdowns in NSW and Victoria say otherwise.
I really hope everything goes OK. I really do. But I'm ready to pull my kids back out of school at a minute's notice if things go bad.
This video is purely my own opinion, and you need to make your own decision to protect your kids. Take care, and stay safe.
I'd love to read your comments, but please keep it nice.
