HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR BRAND?

Covid has stuffed everything up, right? Previously thriving businesses have gone out of business, and small struggling businesses are finding it even harder now. Cash reserves are running out, and there's clearly no quick end to the current situation. No light at the end of the tunnel, and even when this pandemic is over, who knows how long it's going to be before customers have the confidence to come back into your store, assuming you're still around....

This is the common theme of many small businesses right now. The thing is, nobody cares about your struggles. Everybody is having their own problems, and the last thing they are thinking about is you. So, if you've got a product or service that you truly believe is something people need right now, you're going to have to go out and get them. You're going to need to find your customers, because right now, they are too busy and too stressed to look for you.

The good thing about this time is that this pandemic is killing both small and big business. The "leader" in the sector is no longer invincible because behaviour is changing. If you can get your stuff in front of potential customers, you've got a real shot of taking them for yourself.

The thing is, right now, your Brand or identity, is what's important. To get business, 2 things need to happen. Firstly, they've gotta know that you're there, and secondly, your stuff has to be good. It doesn't even have to be the best, it's just got to be decent. Notice that I haven't even included price as a requirement. People, even now, will pay more for something / someone they trust, and more importantly, for convenience. They don't want to go to a physical store unless they can't help it, but they do want to get it quickly, and feel like there is ongoing support if something goes wrong.

So, what is your "Brand" and how are you going to get your name out there?
