The end of Autumn, and the start of Winter

Hey guys, it's been a minute since I have last written here. We're now about 9 weeks into the self-isolation (at least as best as we can) period, and I just wanted to give you an update. It's clearly been a very difficult period for everybody, but we have no choice but to push on. I feel like this is the time for everybody to show some common sense and compassion towards each other. And love.

I may have also bought a new vlogging camera. According to all the YouTube videos I've seen, the Sony ZV-1 maybe the best camera for content creation right now. It's for pre-order at an "early bird" price, and I'm looking forward to giving it a try. 4K video without a time limit, a flip-out to the side screen, hotshoe; what other camera of such small size offers all of this?

Hopefully now resolved, but parking at work has been a nightmare. As a gesture of goodwill, the government decided to make parking free at all public hospitals. What they didn't anticipate was that everybody would start driving to work, even those who have never driven before. And naturally, the car park became inundated with cars to the point that current paying people weren't able to find a spot. Truth be told, if this was a mall, I would have driven out and gone home. But I couldn't do that because it's where I work.

I was also pretty impressed with myself this day. Our front door lock broke, and despite some frustration (actually quite a bit), I managed to replace it, all on my own, with hardly any tools! Only if I was that adapt in other home handyman-type activities.

Anyway, I hope you guys are all well, and I look forward to our next meeting.

Cheers

D
