Bicentennial Park playground- Our Rating

Bicentennial Park at Sydney Olympic Park is part of the redevelopment of the precinct following the highly successful 2000 Olympic Games. So many cities have seen their previous Olympic precincts turn into, dare I say it, slums, that Sydney has made a special effort to make it a still worthwhile venue. Apart from the big stadiums, there are lots of walking paths, bike tracks, picnic areas, and a children's playground.

Our 7 year old can be a little picky about her playgrounds. Some she loves, and some she finds boring. The kid's playground in Bicentennial Park is not huge, and there aren't loads of things to do, making it a nice place to go if you're there, but not a "must visit" if you have to travel some distance to get there.

Here is a quick video overview of what you can find at the playground:

Notice that the swings are gone. I hope it gets fixed quickly. BTW, how do swings break? They are made of a metal frame with metal chains (oh I forgot about the plastic seat). I'm thinking, like most other pieces of public equipment, they break because they're used by people who shouldn't be using it.

Anyhow, I hope you guys are well, and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Happy creating,

D
