We recently took our second-yearly road trip to the in-laws for Christmas. It was a starkly contrasting day in terms of weather. It's been mid-30s for as long as we can remember here in Sydney, but by the time we got to Sutton Forest, it was 17 degrees, and a rainy 12 degrees by the time we got to Cooma!
I tried my very first McRib (at least the Australian version)- I had one in San Diego once. A better name for it would have been a McSauce. We found this really cool playground at the National Arboretum in Canberra, with the slides shaped like Acorns. This was in the middle of some very pretty land where new trees were being grown, with the Telstra Tower in the background.
